Welcome to flour + sugar, the new face for keyk creations. Why the change? A few reasons to name a few. First, I love makeovers! When I’m feeling down, I’ll cut and dye my hair or buy new makeup. Well, recently I lost my job and giving my blog a makeover is “economically safe” (and I need to hang on to every penny)! Secondly, the name keyk seemed to not serve its purpose for the pronunciation of cake. So it definitely had to go. And another reason for the change is that’s just it – change, it’s good for ya (like milk, except if you’re lactose intolerant like me but still deal with it)! Whether you’re in the midst of a career change or preparing yourself for the next decade in your life (that would be me), there’s nothing better than making a cake and sharing it with others.
I hope to share with you my passion for baking and cake decorating as I explore every element, from pop culture to the science of baking. But even more importantly, as I grow to appreciate all the wonderful things associated with making a cake.
